Caught this show last night (see what I did there?) at the Bigfork Summer Playhouse in MT. Great fun. Super talented cast nailed some sophisticated song and dance pieces. Great costumes, excellent band/music — what’s not to like? First time attendee; will definitely return!👏🏻🙂👍🏻

@juliusgoat.bsky.social Just watched John Ford’s The Searchers (1956) for the first time in 45+ years and, beautiful though it is cinematographically, the supposed anti-racism of its story didn’t strike me as powerful. It, and the John Wayne character Ethan, were just plain vulgar. Thoughts?
