I don't want to throw shade at this stranger who seems nice but it just amuses me that this is their first time riding outside in 2 months and I presume because of the cold. This is so sad to see. I really wish more journalists researched what constitutes an ebike vs an e motorcycle. According to the front page of the surron, these are electric motorcycles. You cannot pedal these motorcycles and they significantly exceed 28mph the legal limit for ebikes. keyt.com/news/safety/...

Wow, sustaining 15 feels crazy easy on 40c mtb tires on a hybrid, 2 panniers, a cargo bag, and a 6mph tailwind when the temps go from 4 degrees to 20 degrees. 😆 Ended up pushing up to 20mph at one point at clark and halsted where there's that slight downward slope into downtown. This girl's spinnin.

This reminds me of how the city finally salted and sort of cleared the protected bike lanes on Clark between Montrose Irving Park red l red 1 week after the snow storm. And of course they made sure there was so much salt on there you would think it's compacted snow and ice but no, it was salt. 😑

What a doozy today was! But feel very accomplished. I got that ceiling patched up and painted and prepped the walls some. It was my first time on a scaffold and I must say, it's a scary as it looks being up there because it wobbles some as you move like if you were on a suspension bridge. 😱
