The two transfemme authors I thankfully encountered after reading the horrors of cis people writing trans women (and freaking out a bit) both stated they were directly encouraged by Bee: so the first time I read a book and actually saw myself reflected back is due to her. That's a huge deal for me

We started the process to get someone from the US to Australia permanently about 5/6 years ago, plus 5 years for permanent residence: that's going to cost more money (like 10K+ by the end of the day) Easier to get a working holiday visa ($650) which gives you 12 months in Oz/unlimited leave/returns
