Hey kid3 is doing a band fundraiser. Basically you sponsor his practice on any given day for the month of January, and your donation would be the equivalent of the date (example: $31 for the 1st). Funds go to a festival in Dallas if the band raises 75% of the cost.

Totally jacked my hip because I got confident stepping onto the dock from our little tiny sailboat. Weight displacement was enough that the boat drifted away, and I docked the boat with the power of my thighs and strength of my will. Walked funny for a solid two years, and I still get stiff.

Driving to St Louis today for Kid3's prelims run for the St Louis Super Regional, featuring Drum Major Kid3's Girlfriend, and accompanying Kid3 on the mellophone, Kid2's boyfriend. Super hype - probably my favorite event of the season, for all that I want to puke the whole time from anxiety.
