The thing about David Lynch…he never explained his work. He exemplified the idea that the artist’s job is to pose interesting questions, not to provide answers. That the explanation of his work was the work itself — if it could be put into words, then you didn’t need the film, or song, or painting.

This is true I think. Regan’s “trickle-down economics” has been shown to be a failure, but we’re still operating under the misapprehension that the wealthy need to be coddled as a protected class. And where else could the worship of capitalism lead us? But pendulums gonna swing.

Failing to prosecute the architects of J6 from 1/21/2021 on is the prologue to this coming Trump term. That he won legitimately in 2024 is in no small part to the absolute abdication of responsibility on this by Biden's admin. If you don't govern like democracy is at stake voters won't vote like it.
