While it is important to attend a healthy church, it won't remain healthy if its members are not in the Word all week, examining their hearts and responding to the correction of the Spirit. Don't demand to be spoonfed - be responsible for your own spiritual growth.

Extremely annoyed. Fever and cough hit Saturday - at the start of my break. The fever has persisted, so we've chosen to postpone our family gathering until I'm better. Cough is much better, not stuffy at all, slightly sore throat; but man, this fever is a beast. 😡

I desperately do not want to become like those I disagree with by labeling and name-calling. I want to be better at attacking policy and not the people who hold those polices. I'm so tired of the hubris. I very much want to be different.

Is it healthy to only have people in my life who are at my maturity level, who think like me, are only good (by my standards) and never fail? A big NO from me. I believe we are becoming increasingly more fractured by continually building walls and burning down bridges.
