Inspired by the recent launch of @funfactorpod.com, I have got my own retrospective magazine series back up and running. Here's issue 3 of Page 6, the UK's (and possibly the world's) longest running Atari computer mag. www.youtube.com/watch?v=AgCP...

What were Ty and Aidan doing around 1997? Just check our about page: www.funfactorpod.com/about-us

Please listen to @funfactorpod.com. If you're someone who misses the old videogame mags you grew up with and want a healthy dose of nostalgia, this is such a good podcast. They covered one of my favorites on their first episode, PSM. This is excellent dudes. Can't wait for more!

Are they, uh. Gonna re-release the game

I know it’s gauche AF to say, and we hear it a million times from a million podcasters every day, but, if you enjoyed FunFactor’s first episode, considering leaving a rating/review on your podcast app of choice. It makes a huge difference.

Oooh, buddy. Look out

Finally got caught up on the new FunFactor podcast today while I was playing some Dragon Quest, and it’s every bit as good as its premise: two friends who live and breathe retro games, flipping through old gaming magazines and discussing how they contrast with the games media of today. Smart but fun

I did enjoy

uhhhh, my groomsmen and i definitely didn’t play this in my church’s youth room while i was waiting to get married or anything #old

post the first video game you remember playing oh god, i think it’s kool-aid man on my babysitter’s atari?

awww man the nostalgia…as someone who loves video games but can no longer play them endlessly, this makes me miss the good ol days.. My friend @tyschalter.com has a new podcast and it’s great! Go check it out!

I tried (and failed) to get Katamari Damacy creator Keita Takahashi to explain his new game, to a T, to me. instead, I had one of the most fun, baffling interviews I've ever done www.wired.com/story/katama...

basketball its good

Um. What???

if you see this, post your lock screen (cloud in ffvii remake staring up at shinra hq with the nail bat on his shoulder)

Shout-out to my buddy Moony making a whole video about why this happens, and then getting it fuckin' sponsored by the game itself.

I wrote this yesterday, lol aftermath.site/assassins-cr...

Game Developers when they import 3D assets:

We don't just review old video game magazine reviews. We do research, provide context, and look back on how every aspect of the work looks different in the light of 2025--from the pages themselves, to the people who penned them. Also, we fuck around

working on @funfactorpod.com has meant realizing how many of the disembodied names/tiny headshots in the mags i grew up with are not just cool, real human people but still working in the industry and just like posting on bluesky

Thanks for going through issue #1 of PSM on your podcast. It was a nice hit of nostalgia for me and definitely brought back some great memories of all the fun I had working on that magazine.

This kind of podcast is directly aimed at my interests. Listening to the first episode now and am happy to add it to my feed. Great stuff!

Look if you aren't listening to @aidanis.fun and @tyschalter.com on a podcast then you lead a trite, meaningless life and you must be punished. Spare yourself this punishment and listen to Fun Factor.

If you are a fan of our show I think you will really like this show. Give it a listen now!!!

I look forward to my 10 out of 10s getting 10 out of 10s

As an owner of, what my wife calls, Way Too Many Magazines, this is precisely the stuff I want to see in the world!

A new podcast about old video game magazines. Cool, cool, cool. Check it out.
