Once in a while I remember my grandparents slept with the overhead light on because my grandma was afraid of the dark. It seemed to work for them, so that's cool, but it always felt a bit odd as a kid walking past a fully lit room in the middle of the night when you needed to hit the bathroom.

Went to the holiday lights display at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden. They were selling hot cocoa and you could add whiskey or spiced rum. Friends that was a good idea.
