Does anyone know of a good video tutorial for a point and click adventure game or a visual novel that uses Godot 4? I'm a high school Game Dev teacher, for my students who struggled all year I'm looking for a simpler end of the year project, I think one of those would work well. #godottips

#EduSkyChat A3: as far as content création, teachers should be clear do they need an industry tool, like Illustrator over a consumer tool like Canvas, either is fine but if you're preparing students for graphic design careers, Canvas isn't it

Here's my first #DogPics post

Almost 100 game devs have already joined the Discord, ready to join and shape the biggest open repository of Godot content ✨ We'd love to see you too! Check out the Discord to learn more ⬇️ discord.gg/fJqsyBktbN #indiegamedev #godottips #godot #godotengine #opensource

You know, if accepting an invitation to Thanksgiving will be painful, will disregulate you, will erase you, depress you, put you in contact with people who oppose you and your beliefs, then just.dont.go. been charting my own course since 1990 when I moved across the country to escape, you can to

A3 #EduSkyChat I'm SOOOO grateful to have moved up to a high school teaching Game Design 4 years ago, I should have done it sooner, it gave me a new lease on teaching, it's my 21st year and I think I can keep going despite all the challenges of teaching currently

Curious, is it better to follow more hashtags and NOT people? Can't I just see people's interesting posts on the hashtag? I'm trying not to recreate Twitter #onhere

@cultofthelamb.bsky.social do you have any concept art that shows the evolution of art for Cult of the Lamb? I teach Game Design and I'm always trying to show my students how much things change during the course of development, they just accept the first art that's not bad

Hey #edusky do any of you teach high school Game Design? Or maybe you're a Computer Science teacher who has kids do some game projects for their work. Trying to connect with similar educators since that other site imploded

I'll give #EduSky a try, it looks promising, but I don't need community with teachers in general, I REALLY need it with Game Design teachers, so we'll see

I didn't try to recreate my Twitter account here, I'm going to start from scratch and only include what I'm into now, Game Dev, Art, finding folks to help mentor my students etc
