Do you have a bank account registered with the IRS for tax purposes? If so, assume the info is now public due to the data breach. I've just opened a new checking account that I will be using for everything except tax payments, and I transferred the rest of the money out of the old account.

I just spoke to my mom regarding the Musk Treasury Dept takeover. She hadn't heard of it, and she watches the (non-Fox) news. This may mean mainstream media, which is run by billionaires and Musk buddies, is completely ignoring it.
