> "Dark ages" rhetoric > Picture depicting the late middle ages (not even the era traditionally described as the Dark Ages) > Portraying the Inquisitors and modern Christian Nationalists as a part of the same regressive movement. Yup! Pure Liberal historiographical brainrot

I became convinced I should start catechesis in the Episcopal Church the very same week the rector of the only Episcopalian Church in town left for a position in another state... and we won't get a new rector for a few months. God seems to be testing my patience.

Neither High nor Low Church but a secret third thing

There are two wolves inside of me: One yearns for Liturgy, true presence in the Eucharist, and an active Episcopate going back to the Apostles. The other considers the use of gold in churches to be Satanic and icons theologically dubious

I'm about two articles about Liberal Quakers being upset about early Friends believing in Hell or whatever until I just get baptized in the Episcopal Church

Being an ardently Christian Quaker is to be repeatedly reminded how mindnumbingly unchristian most Quakers are now and being slowly pushed from Quakerism as a whole

Using cannibalism as a metaphor for Erotic love is OUT ... Using cannibalism as a metaphor for Agapeic love is IN ... !!!

Eberhard Arnold incidentally finding out the Hutterites were still around in America is so funny. Imagining deeply wanting to be a Manichean and then finding out they're still around in China... Wait a minute

Progressive Christians have a moral responsibility to embrace and love Conservatives, even when they don't love us.

Compassion-mogging at the Progressive Christian campus ministry dinner by giving a speech against the snark of the members against Conservative Christians

Death will soon disrobe us all

Normalize being denominationally homeless. Yeah I'm nominally a Quaker but honestly I'm somewhere between Quaker, Anabaptist, and Anglican. Weil would likely agree with me here.

"coworker views... coworker music..." your coworker is your fellow creature... Repent!

Barnes & Nobles is so deeply evil. Corporations are so deeply evil. Only the Small bourgeoisie has a chance at salvation.

The experts (Radfems and Paul the Apostle) agree; Everyone must be on sex strike rn!

Green Politics within Liberal democracies seem inherently built to fail. The only such party to gain any real power, to my memory, was the German Greens. This is because the issue of climate catastrophe breaks liberal democracy. No one will vote to remove their own comforts for the sake of humanity.

Lots of Germans on this website it seems...

> Trump removes all Progressive-era legislation ensuring meat is safe to eat > People are forced to eat less meat and get their protein from legumes > Industrial meat industry collapses > Smaller carbon footprint + less animal cruelty across the board Trust the plan. Patriots are in control.

Lankum is easily the best Folk band out there right now. They're at the forefront of what Folk music could be and how it should interact with new tech, such as synths. Anna & Elizabeth are another great act that seem to be doing similar stuff. Love to see it.

Some part of the Christian psyche must be androgynous. One must recognize the mother in Jesus, the warrior in Judith, the king in Mary, etc. If one cannot fathom that some part of their soul is more Eve than Adam, or more Adam than Eve, they miss out on the intense gender experience of Christ.

Talking about the necessity of veganism for a moral life to both leftists and Christians--who I assume should agree with me considering we share similar core values--never fails to make my head hurt. I suppose resistance to veganism is always more about emotions than logic. It is Id over Super-Ego.

I've been quite interested in the Bruderhof as of late. Seems like an excellent model of Christian Socialism, as was practiced by the Early Church. I've always been fond of the Anabaptists, but the Bruderhof are in a class all of their own.
