Oh no Ahsun. Don't know if the initial pop threw her off but she skated right through her music the whole time. Gutsy attack on those combos at the end but what a rough part of the music to have for the steps, she was tired and it was relentless and gave her no room to breathe #4ContsFigure ⛸️

Jimmy Ma managing to hold it together after the fall on the loop, skating for all those kids from Skate Club of Boston, wins his first medal in a major competition at age 29 in a competition where he wasn't even originally scheduled to compete! Legendary #4ContsFigure

There are no Sunday Scaries like the ones before the start of a new session #nvleg

After American airspace was closed on 9/11, over 230 flights with 30,000 passengers and crew were diverted to Canadian airports. Transport Canada received thousands of calls from members of the public offering to help the stranded passengers. Thinking about that today, for no particular reason.

This January has been...really something. But this is from my book blog, so nothing heavy, just what I'm reading lately aportablemagic.com/a-month-in-t...

RIP, Dick Button. You were a real one. Thanks for the drinking game. ⛸️💔

Really moving article by @cschleicher.bsky.social on the figure skaters who were at the juvenile, intermediate, and novice levels of the sport.

Every safety regulation was written in blood, frequently with a body count higher than one, and it’s not political to put the blame on people who want to “move fast and break things” when they start breaking human lives.

Just devastating
