The more things settle, the more I feel that Godwin's contract might be the best during this free agency period. It's clearly a win-win situation.

DO. NOT. GO. BACK.

This is true and I'd guess that it's going to be Ben Jonhson's main focus: increase/enhance Caleb's spatial awareness. Yes, the Bears OL was bad, but Caleb was also bad at dealing with pressures and sacks. Unless his OL becomes a top 3 unit (doesn't seem like it), he'll keep suffering.

Best show on Earth (NFL-wise)? Best show on Earth (NFL-wise).

The famous "Christian Kirk treatment". I'd put a bet on a linebacker. Short supply, high demand.

Since we have (another) migration coming, here's a quick starter pack to help you get connected to most of the NFL people around here, Fantasy and all: go.bsky.app/R1b2JwB

Can someone explain why do we have these two "legal tampering days" for the free agency, if we all are going to know who's going where anyways? It's not even a drama-building situation. It's just silly. Get rid of it, NFL.

The regular season of the NFL is about winning. The playoffs of the NFL are about not losing. Wins whomever makes the least mistakes. #NFL

Not sure I agree. He has nothing to regret, he just signed a very good contract with a team that has a potential franchise QB, young and good players and a tendency to trend upwards. The Bears have been on a loop of failures, that's true, but that can change in a second.

Good discussion I had with some people, but let's see if I can get some more POVs over here: How much of the Eagles' success would you put on Sirianni and what would be the evidences that would justify it? He seems to be somewhat both underrated and overrated, depending on where you look...

This Lions loss is a reminder of how hard and somewhat unpredictable the NFL is. Everybody’s favorite on the NFC side, best team this season for some, but still an ending “too soon”. Cautionary tale for Packers’ fans who are looking at 2025 as “the year”.

A bit overdue, but I have to leave it marked that 2024 was my best NFL year, by far. First and foremost, being able to start a podcast with someone who I respect a lot (@joaomauriciofa.bsky.social) and engage with so many cool people who actively listen to us. I am beyond thankful for all of you.

Man, Marvel's animation are so, so good. X-Men 97 and What If are amazing, the styles and fight sequences (especially on the latter) are top tier. Hopefully they can now translate that level of quality to the upcoming movies. We all deserve it!

This Packers team can go head to head with any team in the NFL, but it's still not ready to be called a Super Bowl team. What's missing is a combination of discipline and attention to detail that is usually what kills a team on the playoffs. It's a very young team, so things should get better.

Hey, @adamrank.bsky.social, you cannot do this and try to reverse jynx your Packers’ expectations. This is not how this works!

Extra-special Sideline Talks episode, where we host @robertmays.bsky.social, from The Athletic, to talk about some less discussed NFL topics, from ownership to plays. His perspectives and approach to the game and his craft are incredible. So many insights here! open.spotify.com/episode/7lAZ...

Ok, I’ll say it: @natetice.bsky.social’s Morty’s impersonation was on point. Looking forward to Nickelodeon getting him to comment a live game while doing it!

Since we have lots of new people over here, why not share the Starter Pack for NFL & Fantasy again, huh? This is a quick setup for you to keep up to date to all of your NFL content over here at Blue Sky! go.bsky.app/R1b2JwB

These past few weeks were a great reminder of how we should be wary of proclaiming anything right from the start. Bryce Young has played well and looked the part. Anthony Richardson has played well and looked the part. Are they franchise QBs? I don't know. But you see things to build on top of.

Remember when Aaron Rodgers was a difference maker?

Is the Texans offense the biggest disappointment of this season?

Ladd compensates for anything that his size would be lacking. The dude is a certified baller.

Are we nicknaming him already? The Icicle? The Iceberg? Sasquatch? I enjoy them all. Kraft is a monster!

Great victory by the Packers on Thanksgiving, a needed boost for this team to establish itself as a playoff team. Now, the greatest test, will be next week. The Lions are arguably the best NFC team and I'm pretty sure Campbell has marked this game as a must-win, regardless of records. LFG!

Would you prefer to have your team win the Super Bowl and then be less than mediocre for a decade (at least) or would you prefer the team to be a year-on-year contender, but no guarantee that it will ever get nor win a Super Bowl within the same timeframe?

Sideline Talks fresquinho!

For all the hate that Quay Walker had been receiving, he’s playing well today (almost had an interception to cap it all). He’s so good, but so, so inconsistent.

You CANNOT drop this ball, Watson

The fact that the BEARS have a chance for the #1 seed should tell you how competitive and hard the NFC North has been.

I love this profile

Everything happening on the Titans-Texans game is 100% the responsibility of @benjaminsolak.bsky.social. He called it. He has the script.

Titans-Texans is probably the silliest game of the season. But it’s been silly fun!
