And about pasta, in Japan we call it "otsukimi" or "moon" when it has egg yolk on top…. Reminds me of my struggle meal. Hot soba with egg yolk is the most memorable food that my mom made for me when her feeling is on good mood.

On plain hot soba, she cracks a raw egg and says “ほら、お月様だよ！(Look, the moon is up!)” And I loved it so much because that was the magic she used for making my meal really special. Kinda sad I'm not keeping in touch with her and my family anymore but memory is sweet and ill treasure it forever.
