Today has been a rather sad, dreary day after having put my 14-year old cat to sleep. I've been crying intermittently all day when no one's around. I went to Starbucks today to cheer myself up, and I hadn't realized that the barista drew a dog's face on the cup until I got home. ❤️🥹

It's official. I have to put my cat Kiara to sleep this Thursday. She hasn't eaten in days. She's at the end stages of kidney failure, and she has a tumor on one of her kidneys. This is incredibly hard for me personally because I too suffer from kidney disease. 💔

Kiara's not feeling well. A few days ago, she started throwing up, then not eating, and now she's been antisocial and hiding in unusual places. All not so good signs. 😢 We're scheduled to bring her to the vet tomorrow. My heart knows that we might have to prepare for the worst. Been crying all day.💔
