Teenage Engineering EP-1320 "Medieval" Jam in a hotel bed because it's Tuesday. I love this thing and its bag but it introduces the problem of how to integrate the sounds of chickens clucking into everything I do.

Stephen King's 'Christine' but it's a mid-90s IBM Aptiva. Its demonic influence slowly transforms Fallout player Arnie into a trash-talking Quake3 fraglord. We find later that every prior owner of 'Christine' went on to become a nostalgiatech Youtuber with <100 subs, a fate worse than death itself.

Your occasional reminder that @thecatreviewer.bsky.social is here and that you need to send him your reviews of cats you meet when you're out and about.

As a native Pens fan, I recommend following the Penguins but recommend following The Flyers because I want to stay on Gritty's good side.

Apparently Teenage Engineering designed an electric scooter. It costs about as much as the OP-XY. Reminds me a bit of the Honda Ruckus.

This house centipede was crawling on my pillow at 8pm and I just want to say, I'm going to miss sleeping. It was a really good activity. Shame I'll never be able to do it again.

I leave my hotel room and look up to see this old warhorse still kicking. It even has the old school Ubiquiti logo!

In the middle of my strange fever, I was speaking my audio journal entries into the TP-7 and dropped it out of a third story window onto a pavement parking lot. Remarkably, it still works, although there's no speaker output anymore. Once I get home, I might disassemble it and see if I can repair it.

Slowly, I'm gaining back my energy. Whatever viral infection hit me 5-6 days ago is leaving. I have no idea if that was COVID, but it didn't show on an antigen test. Now I hunger. I hunger for...Weet-Bix. Endless Weet-Bix from the hotel buffet.

In honor of today's anniversary.

Everyone's talking about those Meta glasses, but these are the only Oakleys I have the headspace for now. FYI these were $185 in the year 2000.

I won these Pac-Man watches at the arcade in Auckland. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they were officially licensed by Bandai Namco. The straps are silicone and the cases are aluminum. The box says that they have Seiko sr626sw batteries.

Yep, that's right Anna, just interact with a popular account with an innocuous comment and make it as awkward as possible. Yep, good job Anna. Follow it up with an awkward shitpost. Just what the doctor ordered.

They keep posting videos of the Evoke like this and I can't believe it took a week for preorders to sell out. This thing sounds amazing for Ambient noise.

It's far past the time where we need regulation for AI. This will get people hurt, and volunteer SAR teams will take the brunt.

I'm thinking that by now, someone with a Switch2 and a Roland SP404 has broken the Seal.

The Sam Vimes theory of socioeconomic unfairness, but with AI. As it becomes more acceptable for people to use AI tools in their everyday workflows, people with more access to those tools will be able to produce more and possibly have different earning potential.

The sign of a quality hotel is that the lobby vending machine has both cold drinks AND chicken ramen in the vending machine.

Carrying a cup of coffee around a three star hotel room like

Sonicware is releasing a new Liven. This one is a granular acoustronic groovebox to add to the collection. I love the Ambient Ø and the texture lab. This looks like it will fit right in, and with MIDI, I can hook them all together to make really nice soundscapes.

Awful time to be alive but truly an amazing time to be a hater

Fun fact—we've had marines on Phobos for decades.

There is no worse feeling than being sick in a hotel room.
