People really underestimate the usefulness of mules in Minecraft. They have the best of both worlds: the speed of horses, but the carrying capacity of a donkey. Not being able to wear armor is a good tradeoff for speed.

So the city that my local medieval faire was in used some loopholes to seize the land to turn it into industrial property. The faire operator had been in the process of buying the land, but something prevented the sale from being finalized and the mayor grabbed it instead. I hate this.

People want stories. We are drawn to the story in art. We pause and spend time with a painting until we find the joy in each brushstroke. In that moment we see the artist and storyteller like a wizard behind the curtain. That is absent in gen ai. Go be that storyteller. Go be human and create.

Y’know, the Super Mario Bros. movie (1993) had the bones of some really cool worldbuilding. Had it stepped back from the Mario thing and just been its own story, it probably would have been awesome. Not that it was a bad movie! I love it to death! The concepts are cool as heck.
