I was never in EGM for anything (Only Nintendo Power) but I'm happy to see the digital archive starting to come to life, first thing I checked out was my first issue I bought EGM #9 I still have it in my vintage game mag box 35+ years later, I bought it for Castlevania 2 & something named Neo Geo😉😍

Nintendo as a company is a creature of habit, they tend to do what's best for the business, but stay very conservative Everyone complains every generation that they don't chase Sony/MS technically, however they push innovation with current technology They've followed Gunpei Yokoi ideals

Someone posted this as an example of what prices were in the 90's My response: Canadian pricing? The US and CA dollar weren't equal then or now, so of course there was a massive increase in price between the countries. This second pic is more realistic, but still on the higher end as T'r'U was

Quick thought how can they claim a NSW2 version if they put the Switch 1 game in the box w/a Download Code? Isnt that deceptive marketing?🤔🤨 Looks like I'm just buying the Switch 1 copies of everything until they don't make them anymore since most of these games arent NSW2 native & physical anyway

Not sure where all of this talk of current gen games NEED to be MORE expensive came from NOW since Nintendo announced the $80 game yesterday Also where did this $100 GTA 6 thing come from??? The reason SNES/Genesis games cost a lot is because carts w/larger ROM sizes were expensive Blu-ray discs

Apparently they do possess magic over at CDPR Got one right & one wrong yesterday (yes I admit when I'm wrong) Straight from CDPR, NSW2 version is complete on cart, how...the voodoo boys doing some techno magic😅 Also, I did mention it wasn't going to run the best & it won't w or w/out DLSS or AI😐
