What is it that they'll actually *do* with dramas to make them more palatable for Reform voters? Reduce the number of teeth the actors have?

Has anyone, in any discipline, ever tried to theorise why transgression is such a major part of sexual desire *but little else*? As in, people spend a lot of energy on thinking about transgressing sexual taboos, but somebody who's kosher doesn't spend as much time thinking about eating pork etc.

guys will be like "these people are ruining america" and it'll be a picture of the coolest guys ever

The Long Heat, the book by Andreas Malm and I on carbon removal and geoengineering, will be released by @versobooks.bsky.social in October. It's available now for pre-ordering: www.versobooks.com/en-gb/produc...

There is no way that those 7.5 million people are going to be actually doing productive AI research, so this will mainly be 'prompt crafting', or learning to ask somebody who is stupid and actively lies to you to do your work for you. It's a giveaway to these 11 companies.

Im being so serious when I say that Zack NEEDS to win his leadership bid. He's the only prospective leader of any party in the UK that stands a chance against Reform in a general election join.greenparty.org.uk

🥩 Great to listen to @manesweisskircher.bsky.social presenting our new joint venture on how the far right mobilises against lab-grown meat at the @ecpr-ead.bsky.social conference in London! 🍗

Reform are the British establishment's choice for the next election, and key parts of that establishment are adjusting themselves accordingly.

Ah yes, but had they considered that if I post deliberately inflammatory statements that simplify complex situations then my personal brand will go viral?

Fools. Swine. You spend your Sunday evenings 'with your families' or 'watching sportsball' when you could be like me, a man of letters, who is currently theorising cuckhold and stepsister porn through the theoretical lens of Rene Girard. Begone, you are beneath me.

POV you're engaging in nonviolent resistance

I had the misconception that the military didn't have tanks, but since seeing a military parade I now know that they do.

Just read this great post👇 “He wants power, but not just power. The most important thing is not to have to accommodate other people, to not have to acknowledge any obligation to humanity or to humans as a group as the fundamental virtue of a society.” degenerateart.beehiiv.com/p/the-concen...

These are completely inauthentic- none of them have a gut hanging out between their badly fitting no-ass jeans and Wal-Mart plate carriers.

See also Heidegger, who was sure that he'd be Hitler's personal public intellectual but was ordered to dig trenches during the end of the war because he was the most expendable member of his department. Yarvin is no Heidegger.

Yeah I guess LeBron putting up a 22.6 PER is pretty special, but it's not that impressive when you compare him to people rolling out of bed and firing off something like this at age 86.

Want to win a fully painted Exorcist chapter army? Want to help raise money for an amazing cause? Link in bio 👀 (Do it 🫵)

While working on this piece, I learned there are more "private security" guards than regular police. They do quite a lot of "policing," however. It's a shadow economy that is so under-studied, no one could tell me how big it was.

This seems like a great day to remind Bluesky that Stephen Miller lived four doors down from me freshman year And our student council person asked him (and everyone) to sign a birthday card for our dorm’s janitor And he threw a tantrum and wrote an op-ed about not socializing with “the help.”

One of the most frustrating things about the anti-trans sadism mind-virus is how resistant it is to materialist analysis. Like it really is just a bunch of rich people all developing the same mental illness at once and spreading it person to person by peer pressure and love bombing.

Some of you just can't handle two high agency men going at it.
