A lighthouse in the woods? Climate change is worse than I thought.

Frosty early morning walk with the dog at Gibside National Trust.

Never ceases to amaze me that my book is translated into so many languages. #booksky

Cold and icy this morning. Frozen willow tree and a wintery sky.

In-between editing a new book this is my current read. It’s intriguing, I haven’t worked out what’s actually happening but enjoying the process. #booksky

Chilling at Christmas with a favourite cushion. #dogs

Love it when readers send photos and comments #booksky

Time for a bit of crime. The very first Rebus. Halfway through, dark, seedy, and gripping. #booksky

What a beautiful book. A heartwarming but thought provoking read. It makes us question our relationship with nature. We have a lot to learn from the magnificent hare. #booksky

Whilst writing my latest book, I spent a lot of time researching Queen Alexandra Nurses in India in WW2. So brave, let's never forget. #booksky #nurses

This wonderful little bookshop is in Gibside National Trust grounds. I walk the dog there most days. She always heads for the shop before we go home. Its donation only and often filled with hidden gems. #BookSky

Always gets what she wants.

Love this review from Turkey There were so many places I underlined that it flowed like water for me. Türkiye’de 11 Kasım 2024 tarihinde değerlendirildi Altını çizdiğim o kadar çok yer vardı ki su gibi aktı benim için

Just discovered that the translated version of A Dog's Quest to be a Buddhist is available in every library in Slovenia. How wonderful is that?

Just started but already fascinated to see what happens to one of my favourite creatures on the planet.

@peterrbrown.bsky.social Hi Peter. Is your book the book that inspired the movie. I have just been to see Wild Robot with my Granddaughter and it was the best animated film we’ve ever seen.

Finished last night. It's beautifully written, clever, thought provoking, and highly original. I did enjoy it but struggled with the endless description of Earth through the window. I wanted to know more about the crew and their lives on Earth. Let me know if you've read it. #booksky

A spaniel and her half-sister, set out to discover the reason their owner meditates and follows the teachings of the Buddha. Assisted by a bookshelf, who holds a fountain of knowledge, they embark on a quest to discover the secrets of meditation and uncover the path to ancient wisdom. #BookSky

A big thank you to everyone who has taken the time to post a review of A Dog's Quest to be a Buddhist. The total now stands at 900. Maybe coffee and cake for me and extra treats for Indi when we hit a thousand. #booksky

Just hanging around while they get their walking boots on. Boring…

About to find out what all the fuss is about - will let you know.
