If the emperor has no clothes, but everyone’s interest is in pretending he does, then in such a closed system, there’s no way to break the illusion. Anyone opposing it will be ignored or silenced. But outside, there’s nature—cold, rain, disease. It’ll come inevitably. Let’s try to survive until then
