The French Human Rights League is asking the public to join them in a mass exodus of X, formerly Twitter, on US Inauguration Day #Jan20 🎩: @jimmacmillan.com #HelloQuitteX #Xodus

I drank a few #beer yesterday…

Oh. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

If you're interviewing a Trump apologist in the UK media/politics sphere, don't ask about trade, tariffs or even NATO *until* you've asked about the coup attemt, the sex offending & the felonies. These people claim to care about all the things that Trump denigrates daily. Call them out on it.

😂

Caleb Williams starting to look the part. #bearsvikings

I wanted more coverage in U.S. media of the arrest warrants issued against Netanyahu and Gallant — specifically, on the "ironclad" support offered from Washington throughout. I got to make the point, briefly, last night while discussing Biden's legacy on @newsnation.bsky.social.

Wow. According to this image it looks like nurses - whose real-terms pay has declined by at least 20% since 2010 are responsible for driving up UK borrowing. Thanks for clearing that up BBCNews

“Elon Musk is basically an oligarch.” (Also, I’m posting this clip here on BlueSky and at The Other Place. We shall see…)

Andrew Tate got banned from Bluesky in less than one day. Another reason things are so much better here than Twitter.

One thing I look for in a social network is not to have the CEO shove his reactionary political views in my face every time I open the app. So I’m happy here.

It took me twelve years (!) to build up my audience on Twitter. It took 5 days to surpass the 50% point of my Twitter following on Bluesky. I’m hopeful that the overall growth on this site will negate the need to go on Twitter altogether. Sad to see what it devolved into, but thrilled to see it die.
