Have you ever seen clouds glow like this? Noctilucent clouds are the highest clouds in Earth's atmosphere - forming in the mesophere some 50 mils above the Earth's surface. Carl Gough's image of the silvery, whispy clouds above Amberley Castle was Highly Commended by our judges.
