I like flat numbers. But in designing Single Target and AoE in the same system, I found percentile defenses work to separate the two for raw damage values. I.E., less damage spread over an area with flat defense gets nullified, but percent does not. Have others found the same? #GameDesign #TTRPG

The setting of my game takes place after 2400, wherein an alien portal network in space was discovered; along with an abandoned alien battle station the size of a city. In this setting, humans hadn't yet conquered the galaxy, yet the acquisition of alien technology would go a long way. #TTRPG #RPG

Been running a session on Saturdays of my own TTRPG I'm building. Been fun so far. The setting is in Sci-Fi and space travel. Balance has been interesting to work with. I found guns and ammo were far more complicated than I first thought they would be to incorporate. Been fun though. #TTRPG #RPG
