Counterpoint: maybe don't mock Trump for backing down from things we actively wish he'd back down from. "You didn't have the courage to fuck us as badly as you claimed you did" simply is not the own these dweebs seem to think it is.

My gf left a high control situation with toxic maga family and realized her beliefs mostly align with the left. She had to undo a bunch of perceptions that were basically "the left hates X," upon learning they don't, right-wingers just say that about the left.

I've talked about this before but in my work and personal life I interact with a few GenZ women and the things they tell me about the behavior of their male peers is often genuinely startling. Incredibly antisocial behavior that these guys simply don't understand is deeply weird and off-putting.

I'm genuinely sorry that Fetterman had a stroke and suffers from depression. But arguing that he has a free pass not to do his job in the name of destigmatizing brain injury and mental health struggles is offensive. If he can't do it, he should resign.
