Lemme tell y'all: The first couple weeks of trialing a new medication SUUUUCCK. If I hadn't been through this process before and know that the potential for a positive outcome on the other end, I'd be chucking this shit in the garbage. But I just have to be patient, even though.... ugh.

Anything can be a box if you really put your mind to it.

Good night, Bluesky. Good work. Sleep well. I'll most likely quit you in the morning.

Don't write for an audience. Write for yourself. If * you* want to read it, someone else will also want to read it. You just need to find them.

Yeah. Fuck. I fully understand trying to defend a dangerous cross. But if you're *in the goal box*, you best have a SOLID. FUCKING. HANDLE. on your touch. Not this full extention sliding toe-poke bullshit. So many own-goals come from unnecessary desperation. #SoundersFC #SeattleSounders

YES. Finally watching a new season of Seattle Sounders soccer. GO SOUNDERS! #SeattleSounders #SoundersFC #GoSounders

Tomorrow's my birthday. I will not be online. Because I respect myself. See y'all next week sometime.

Officially deleted my original Instagram account today. It's a little bittersweet. I wish it wasn't.

It genuinely surprises me that Diana Krall has never done an original Bond theme.

I got married in 1998. So.... ....yeah.

As you age you get more choices. Your monitor can either be in focus with your glasses *off*, but you have to lean in and hunch over your keyboard, or it can be in focus with your glasses *on*, but you're too far away to reach your keyboard. You pick.

Not gonna lie: This video from The Headphone Show - a channel I watch for audiophile equipment reviews - is genuinely one of the best, most concise explanations of why tariffs are going to make a lot of things more expensive, and why the current spate will end up being pretty anti-consumer.

Getting into Vinyl is finally worth it.

Watching one of our favorites. If you haven't seen Push, do yourself a favor and do so. On of my favorite of Chris Evans's roles.

Don't get a much better view than this.

I really need to find a path out of this crushing anxiety. I am, so far, unable to dig out of what turns out to be despair. I'm sure it's the same thing everyone else is feeling, I know I'm not unique, but I have lost so much productive capacity in the last few months.

In case you were wondering, it took roughly 8.5 hours to completely download the 1550 books in our Kindle library, because Amazon makes it intentionally difficult. And those aren't passive hours. I've been at my PC since 2pm this afternoon (it's now 10:30pm) manually downloading one at a time.

Just FYI: It takes *six* clicks PER BOOK to download an eBook from your Amazon account. There are 25 books per page displayed on your Content page in your Amazon account. I have 66 pages.

No one amasses a billion dollars without harming a lot of people in the process. Full stop.

What are some of the best *non*-Amazon eBook storefronts? Places where I can purchase DRM-free eBooks - preferably in ePub format - that are not hardware/platform/ecosystem dependent? Specifically storefronts, too. I already check out library books digitally; I'm looking for purchase options.

An account randomly liked several of my recent posts, then followed me. It had a default icon, so I went to check on it, and it had zero original posts and was nothing but reposting what seemed like every post it could come across with the word "waterslide". Begone, fuckin' weird-ass bot.

What's a movie that is widely considered bad, but you love it proudly? (It's hard for me to narrow this down to only four...)
