I find it absolutely wild that, since I quit my old job, I've finally had the energy to: bake (every weekend), paint, almost finish Balder's Gate 3, strip walls of paint, read and more... I *might* have been a tad depressed there... Oops!

I really want to find some new books to read. Fan of Hitchhiker's Guide, LOTR, the princess bride and more. No strong objections to romance novels but prefer them to be like The Paris Library (where romance is the subplot and fighting the Nazi occupation is the main plot).

Seen several scaremongering articles about the UK economy doing badly under Labour. Here's a BBC graph. Labour came into power in July. Notice the pre-July figures? Yeah that's right, there was more of a difference every month. That reflects the unstable economy of the Conservative government.
