Trump and Vance degenerated into playground bullying, something I can recognize from years of suffering it. The only way to handle a bully is to fight back. They are cowards, and any hit discourages them. Never give up and never think Trump represents America in any way, shape, or form.

Trump's behavior vis-a-vis Zelenskyy should outrage anyone, especially any patriotic American. Republicans should be as furious as Democrats. This is fascist treason and a national disgrace. Don't be "ashamed of being American" unless you still support him. Most of us have fought him for a while.

Project 2025 is pretty much the same as the Taliban agenda in Afghanistan. Christian nationalism is basically Taliban Islam--neither bearing any resemblance to ordinary Christianity or Islam. We need a Project 2026 with decent, human agendas, whether liberal or conservative.

The current wave of cuts by Trump and Musk make no sense to me except as sheer cruelty to the most vulnerable. There seems to be genuine, literal sadism at the root of it. Very little money is saved but the economic costs--let alone the human costs--are enormous.

The problem with one-person rule (now advocated by many tech bros) is that when that one person makes a mistake and things go south, he or she is prone to kill. Reading the biog of Hitler in Richard Evans' new book HITLER'S PEOPLE. Hard to tell whether I'm reading it or the newspaper. Trump is so obviously copying Hitler. Every tactic in his speeches--lies, exaggerations, selfpraise, absurdities to deflect people from the real message--is the same.
