agreed and i think this applies to all artmaking as well. newer artists and especially aspiring board artists occasionally ask me for advice and one of my first and most emphatic points is to go far, far outsidr cartoons when intaking art. no media or concept is irrelevant

this is prolly TMI but on the old site I was leery about interacting with NSFW account I don't feel that way on bluesky. though part of it is because a lot of my furry friends are NSFW artists/authors/creators. the other part is I'll tag my stuff but I think suggestive/nsfw art is just... art?

Transgender men's invisibility is violent erasure. Sam Nordquist, a 24-year-old transgender man, was tortured for over a month to death, and his slaughter is not being considered a hate crime. The media has gone to disgusting lengths to minimize Sam's transgender identity. Hardly anyone is outraged.
