first photo was from before antibiotics, with the radiologist noting in my chart of an abscess forming in the CT scan i had done, second photo is from 1/2 way through my course of antibiotics. but yeah, it wasn't infected in the slightest. 😐

i've had to go to the ER post-op twice now. once for falling to ensure sutures didn't tear & hardware didn't slip, and the second being for symptoms of a blood clot. yeah turns out the blood clot symptoms are "normal" and just bone marrow & fluid accumulating in my calf post op for "healing" 🤨

so apparently in MPFL reconstruction with TTO there are at least three incisions made, ALL OF THEM ranging from 2CM to 4CM. TELL ME WHY MY MAIN INCISION IS FUCKING MASSIVE. no blood in picture but click at own risk. my main incision holds a whopping total of 22 staples 😀

these adaptive pairs of underwear from victoria's secret have been a literal LIFESAVER following my surgery. i'm not allowed to weight bear for a minimum of 6 weeks on my right leg. so i get around with crutches. but my right knee is extended & locked in the brace. so adaptive underwear?? GODSEND
