Been thinking a bit about the so-called decline of the MCU. I don’t believe that exists. All the films since Endgame have been great or at the worst, above average. I think the “problem” was D+ and Covid both of which led to a LOAD of projects, too many tbh. I’m excited for the future. Are you?

Remembered when I talked films with a client and I said I enjoyed Deadpool and Wolverine and I also liked Horror films like Scream. They responded by saying they liked more intellectual films and were too clever to watch things like that. Not entirely sure they realised how rude that was 😂

Marvel pausing development on a couple of shows isn’t a bad sign. In TV, more shows are developed than ever go to production. 3 shows that frankly are likely to cause more oversaturation / characters that aren’t big enough to warrant shows isn’t a big loss.

It’s interesting that I’ve submitted a number of tender pitches for work recently and not got the job, but see that the unlisted videos I uploaded specially to YouTube to include ONLY in the pitch, weren’t watched at all. If I’m not good enough, fine, but not watching the work seems wrong.
