I have just learnt what a "cusec" is, and no, it is no like a parsec! It is a unit flow (especially water) equal to one cubic foot per second. For those not in the US or UK, a cubic foot is 0.02831685 m3 (as in cubed)

It seems that on UK motorways "Don't hog the middle lane" actually means, drive in the middle lane so other road users can pass on either side, or if there are 4 lane, drive in lane 3 to give people options
