I support Volodymyr Zelenskyy. That’s all I want to say now.

Recorded three years ago on a sunny February day.... Episode 109 - Here at the river's edge (33 mins) On a quiet day at an empty spot. A crescent of beach on the River Crouch in Essex. Blue skies. The call of curlew on the wind. Lapping waves. > bit.ly/LenCrh3

Some virtual sunshine to start your day. Recorded at a location where we experienced a wonderfully rich mix of wildlife. 169 - Ear witness report from the Hoo Peninsula (47 mins) Lapwing and cetti's warbler sing from the hawthorn on a perfect May day. Best with headphones > bit.ly/LenHoo2

Episode 62 - A mistle thrush sings amongst wind hushing conifers (28 mins) Down on the forest floor it's quiet. Just the fleeting voices of children playing somewhere else deeper in the wood. A bumble bee comes, then goes. A blackbird sings. bit.ly/LenBxB

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and happy holidays. If you need a break from the festivities, we can give you an escape to somewhere else. Take five minutes or longer by the sea, under the trees or somewhere else quiet. 🎧

I began writing threads on Twitter in 2022. The full-scale invasion of 🇺🇦 by 🇷🇺 forced a reckoning that I had avoided until my 40s. My threads were often uncomfortably personal. But they helped organize my thoughts and, unexpectedly, fostered meaningful connections with people across the globe. 🧵

Morning from Kyiv! The night was calm here. I slept. The morning greeted us with thick grey colours. I wonder if November has others. Let me brighten it a bit. Today's Ukrainian art: Marfa Tymchenko (1922-2009), Memories of the Petrykivka Wedding, 2006

It was a bit emotional day. But after an uneasy morning with attacks it is usually like that. Anyway, I visited an absolutely amazing exhibition today. One of my favorite Ukrainian artists. It is just a teaser. I have no mood, no anything to edit photos or videos. Later-later.

One of our favourite winter episodes. Episode 104 - While away in winter woodland (36 mins) A small wood in the middle of nowhere. Empty. Waiting. Best with headphones > bit.ly/LenComb

So beautiful here today. We had a day off and headed out to the fields for some fresh air. This frosty scene in the sunshine was one of the highlights.

4:37 pm in Kyiv It is a real war. Two days ago, Oleh Sentsov, a Ukrainian film director and a former political prisoner of the Kremlin who fights near Avdiivka, published a video on Facebook. It is the video of the battle near Avdiivka. You can watch it here: facebook.com/share/v/ULLX...

11:15 am in Kyiv Morning from Ukraine! The night was calm in Kyiv. But not everywhere in Ukraine. Our air defense destroyed all 14 russian Shahed drones overnight. It is snowing. So beautiful (and cold) outside. Winter arrived in Kyiv.

9:47 pm in Kyiv On Sundays I usually send a Public Letter. It is a mix of the last war news and what we are fighting for (this time I told about a modern Ukrainian sculptor). Do you get my letters? Here is today’s one: www.buymeacoffee.com/warcoffee/pu...
