I wrote a post last week that was literally a dump of stuff after I learned that my mother was involved in an accident that killed a child when I was only 8 months old. It was all correlated in my head but it needed to be edited again. So I cleaned the article up. utah44.com/family-secre...

The Customs and Border Patrol's Trusted Traveler Program page is down. 404 "Not Found" error when visiting ttp.cbp.dhs.gov. This is the site where US citizens apply for expedited entry during international travel

I think Trudeau just told Trump to shut the puck up.

It's like the Utah legislature doesn't give a damn about representing constituents anymore. They are literally writing bills to bolster the legislative branch, undermine the judicial branch, and take away Utah voter rights while carving up counties into little Republican fiefdoms. #utpol

Kaia came over for treats and a visit.

the irony and contrast of these two posts appearing together in my feed:

This one is for @sealless.bsky.social. These Oakland sisters happen to be aunties of @anggreen.bsky.social, and they were a hoot. "It was a different time"

This family story is a story of hardship and heartbreak, and I'm overwhelmed and reeling a bit to try to understand what impact this has had for four families. Warning: it's a long read. utah44.com/family-secre...

I think Cox signing HB267, combined with his post-election statement that he won't seek another term as Governor is a clear indication that he's vying for an appointment with the Trump admin. I really hope new Gov. Deidre M. Henderson doesn't take any pages from Cox's playbook when he's gone.

As a child my parents would bring us back east to visit my grandparents in Massachusetts, and the first cats I met were my grandma's. They were Siamese cats who adored her and no-one else. I thought they were total jerks. My grampa had his own barn cat.

People here are nice, and that's a problem. I had some thoughts while getting my hair cut today. utah44.com/nice-people/

Leading up to Cox's signature on HB267 the OVERWHELMING opposition to this bill was evident. We are experiencing the conservative right pushing an agenda to destroy workers rights only possible due to apathy of voters looking no further than a party line when voting. www.sltrib.com/news/politic...

A friendly reminder that Utah employees working through the night to ensure that roads are plowed and salted so that you can drive safely home are public union members impacted by HB267. Contact @govcox.bsky.social to veto the bill. @afscme.bsky.social Local 1004 myuea.org/advocating-f...

I know the guy who wrote this, would recommend a read.

@realsaltlake.com the question is, is she a good witch, or a bad witch?
