@democrats.org This shows it: you need to be more progressive, less establishment, get new leadership, and fix problems. If disenfranchised voters hoping for a stronger opposition lost you the election by staying home, the way to get elected is by APPEALING to them and chaning, NOT shaming them more

There have been important House votes lost by a single vote while two Dem seats are vacant due to deaths, one at the age of 77 and the other at 70 who ran after a cancer diagnosis. "Too old" is absolutely valid reason enough, in and of itself, to challenge someone. It always has been.
