eating well at the horror box office in 2025, looks like. also quite interested in I'll Never Forget What You Did Last Summer. and of course excited for Victorian Psycho, whenever it happens to happen—I'll be there with bells on (probably figurative? but who knows . . .).

Three incredible @liveright.bsky.social books selected here: SWIMMING PRETTY by Vicki Valosik; FORGOTTENNESS by Tanja Maljartshuk, translated from Ukrainian by Zenia Tompkins; and THE PHYSICS OF SORROW by Georgi Gospodinov, translated from Bulgarian by Angela Rodel

Glory Edim’s wonderful “By the Book!” And a lovely shoutout for her forthcoming series with @liveright.bsky.social: Well-Read Black Girl Books! Launching summer 2025 👏

Book mail round up! Which one raises your eyebrow? 🤨 Victorian Psycho was a real good time 🩸 and I read Feeders by Matt Serafini years ago, it’s unhinged social media influencers on an app that encourages escalation-so addictive! Excited for all of these!

Cover reveal for Phil Melanson’s gorgeous debut novel FLORENZER, forthcoming from Liveright 6/10! Preorder now! I mean how can you not?!?

Just finished Victorian Psycho by Virginia Feito. What a fantastic, twisted and hilarious read. The title evokes American Psycho but this isn’t a gothic transplant, where Bateman was narcissistic, Winifred Notty is just delights in evil. Well worth a read.
