This has been the lie from day 1 of the pandemic. The myth is: 1. Chronic disease is 100% under individual control 2. Infectious disease is only dangerous if you've got a chronic disease 3. Therefore all disease can be cured if you try, no need for govt

I have a medical condition for which there is no good treatment, and I can say that it really sucks. The problem is that the "alternative" providers who say that they can help are either lying or wrong.

Every expert in vaccines gets their children vaccinated. Every one. That tells you something very important.

People are surprised by this, but imo it's just industry being industry. They don't care who's in charge as long as the money keeps flowing. They'll have to put more cash into research under Trump but he's gutting the regulatory system so they can slash all safety systems to pay for it.

Wow, this is a pretty big one. Scientific checking, difficulty: medium. Who can tell me what looks odd about this table of baseline values from the very famous 1989 DART study.

Also, the US federal govt is not the only place cutting roles. Universities are preparing for massive layoffs due to the enormous cuts to US federal research funding. This is also going to hit a range of private industry which relies on university partnerships to fund their work.
