One of the hardest things to understand in teaching, for me, is the fact that what I think is best for my students might not necessarily be the best for them. Most of the time, seeing their immediate reaction to my lessons gave me a lot more insight as to how to adapt, rather than planning for it.

I recently succeeded at replacing the battery in a gameboy cartridge, all by myself Soldering wasn't easy for someone with a non-steady hand, but its so satisfying to finally be able to play and save the game, after all that work. Soldering isn't as scary as I initially thought!

Taking care of a house all by myself is tough work, if not done regularly. Maintenace work like roof leaks, plumbing, and just cleaning up stuff from the roof and other spots i dont visit often are some of the ones I found to be a real workout. I dont think i can get used to walking on rooftops.

I will update my drawing endeavors here from now on! This one is my attempt to draw a dragon of my own! I'm too stubborn to learn how to draw properly, so I simply did what I always do, brute forcing everything by hand. #handdrawn #art #dragon #krita

(Not) family photo Its like a track record of my previous attempts. Think the quality gets better overtime! (Not the baby ones though. Those came pre-made) #gunpla #gundam

Finally finished this one #gunpla ! Took me about 2-3 hours. Not my best attempt, but it stands and poses, so I'll call it a success lol Not being glued to my laptop, and having some time off from work did wonders to my options of activity. I had a blast this time around.

Playing with the kids! (Not really kids) This time on #krita, I used a single brush for everything, and two layers (3 if we count the default background). a bit messy, but I did this in like an hour or so. So I would call it a success when it comes to learning how to draw! :D

Tried out some brushes in #krita for the first time! Actually had a blast, while also realizing how vast the potential is for me to illustrate stuff. So here they are! Don't worry about the lil guy, the bird is not stomping it.

Gonna start this one soon. Wish me luck! #gunpla #gundam

Say hi to me and my lil baby! (The baby is definitely the smol one, the big one is me) #krita #oc #robot

So.. how do I start learning to draw neat lines instead of.. rough scratches for my sketches?

I discovered #3dpaint on my laptop several years after I started using it. I didn't even know it was something that comes with my device for free. I spent a few days on it and made these two drawings, before moving to other art program.

I used to draw my own thumbnails for my #undertale livestreams! It's quite messy, but I loved the process regardless (and the result too, I suppose)

Oh, I want to share a sketch I made for my first ever #dnd #oc character! He is Tarsis Arn Il Dalimir E Ernivur. A wizard that refuses to use any magic that involves controlling the natural elements. My party call him either "Arn" or just.. "E". Also included a meme I made for one of our journey

I forgot I had this one too. Sorry for the reupload spam. I tried drawing the Baron from #ConquestofElysium4 , based on the in-game sprite! also on #mspaint

This I believe, was the last drawing I did, using #mspaint It's supposed to be a female fantasy knight. Man, I wish I didn't use the bucket tool for this one..

also made this one on #mspaint ! This is an Iron Angel, wielding the sword "Ember" from #Dominions5

I made these two years ago on #mspaint lol I was all about #ConquestofElysium4 back then. Great times.. I'm thinking of creating new ones for #ConquestofElysium5 too!

I wonder if its better to believe my student's ability, or to assume they are lacking to then help make sure that they are capable? It became a game of either putting blind faith, or underestimating them, which is not optimal by a long shot then again, i suppose tests are there to solve this issue

I remember someone commissioned me to write their thesis in English. Offered good money for it too, but I was honestly not sure whether I can do it with good conscience, as I'm pretty sure it's not fair. Anyway, I had to deep-fry corn starch for a week to survive, but at least I didn't regret it.

Oh, I wonder If I'm allowed to post my stream liniks & schedules here as well?

I recently decided to read some of my older creative writing projects and It was awful. I developed a new fear due to this. If after a couple of years my writing skill reaches a point where my current skill seems awful in comparison, am I gonna be trapped in this cycle for all eternity?

Behold! My beautiful abomination! I can't even describe what it is lol. Was one of my first work using Krita

I have been thinking of doing some creative writing stuff again lately. Maybe I will share some of it here

Well, well, well. Looks like I found myself a new social media platform to be a part in. Hopefully it will be a nice place to be on the internet (god knows we need one these days.)
