Trump just canceled a $766 million contract with Moderna to develop a pandemic bird flu vaccine, right as their early trial showed strong results. Why? Politics over preparedness. RFK Jr. runs HHS. He hates mRNA. So science gets sidelined. Bird flu is mutating. The clock is ticking.

Privatization makes things worse. Look at air traffic control in Canada or space exploration in the USA. Privatization doesn’t save money or deliver better services. It makes profits for shareholders. Water, electricity, transportation services, and healthcare should be public not private goods.
