It’s surprisingly easy to build your own custom dashboard with TRMNL, webhooks, and a bit of PowerShell. I used it to send dynamic data (like quotes and images) to my new TRMNL dashboard. The possibilities are endless! Lookout for the $10 discount code! gilbertsanchez.com/p...

I save a few of the excellent talks I’ve seen over the years and this is one I keep coming back to - Technical Neglect by @kevlin.bsky.social - timeless and particularly useful as I a about to embark on a big “legacy” refactor youtu.be/9iLxR1h2208?...

This is an evergreen article I pull up whenever I start to hit boundary issues.

Started fine tuning an LLM to create something to help me edit my blog posts. One suggestion I saw was to ask a model for your tone in an existing piece of content. Then ask for which public figure it sounded like. I've never felt more complimented by ChatGPT then when it said Scott Hanselman.

This weeks FAFOFM is with @angiejones.tech who helped us understand how a decade of good practice applies to brand new AI systems fafo.fm/18

"I'm an automation girlie." - @angiejones.tech on @fafo.fm Brought the biggest grin to my face. I love it!

I'm loving my @usetrmnl.com! I'm gonna start writing a post about how I use PowerShell to drive updating my custom plugin via webhook instead of polling.

He’s so good at this.

Isn't it about time that all these neofetch clones started using modern image protocols for their logos?

Listening to the "Motivated to Learn with Adriana Villela" on @fafo.fm. I need to write my thoughts out on a blog post but the "Curse of Knowledge" is a real thing. Knowing how to gauge what is "easy" when you've already learned it is hard. This is why I always lean on new folks to give feedback.

Come Join me on May 7th as I get together with the Research Triangle PowerShell User Group to discuss where rolling your own configuration as code toolset lands on a scale from Misguided to Foolish. 🥳 rtpsug.com/meetups/2025...

Have a #PowerShell or Sys Admin virtual talk(s) you want to give? It can be 15, 30, or 45 minutes, and I’d love to give you a platform. Comment below or message me. Let’s make it happen!

This is hard to believe, but is happening: the CVE program to end later today? CVE has been the de facto way to track software vulnerabilities - from disclosure to fixing - globally. Feels like everyone will be worse off - and I wonder what will replace this, if anything will

The latest episode of the #PSHSummit bar sessions is live! I got to chat with Missy, Leslie, and @allwayshype all about #PowerShell Summit, their experiences, we even dive into mentorship, therapy, and the importance of modeling behavior - something that we can ALL do. powershellpodcast.po...

BREAKING. From a reliable source. MITRE support for the CVE program is due to expire tomorrow. The attached letter was sent out to CVE Board Members.

I'm doing my internal write up about lessons learned at #PSHSummit25 and Jennifer Stirrup's "data puddles" may have been one my favorite new phrases I'll be using.

I did something unorthodox at PowerShell + DevOps Global Summit... I presented a lightning demo on something unrelated to PowerShell. There was a bit of a reaction 😲 but thankfully it seemed like one of interest.

"Moving PowerShell content folder out of MyDocuments" YES! I also look forward to more PS ScriptAnalyzer work.
