I don't think this is a bad various artists compilation CD.

🧵Occasionally I do pick up some ridiculously priced CD's in charity shops. How much time have you got? What have I missed in the past. I have to. When you see what some cost these days. Possibly why people use streaming services? Also many artists are not available. 1/

🧵In the early hours I surfed the music stations on DAB in the UK. Virtually every one was similar. Run perhaps 3 big conglomerates. I have a seriously wide taste in music but I either found only the few I do dislike. The rest were narrow casting the same songs repedatively. 1/

🧵Oh...what a night Thursday turned into. Chaos. I was asked by elderly friend who is still ill to pick up a cough bottle for her son. And finally get some apples I purchased days ago for him too. Luckily our little bingo club on Thursday is just over the road from where she 1/

🧵Most state help is poor. You would not choose to be on it if you truly had a choice. If you get basic help you truly struggle. Most only survive. Many who work are managing. These days on welfare or working they only get by if they are part of a household where 1/

2,100 cabinet office staff(approx 1,200 to be made redundant. The other 900 transferred to other departments)Labour G'ment announcement.

🧵 Where to start. The Bank of England can print money. On the whole our g'ment can always find money for what it decides is it's priorities. I am going to try and avoid writing a thread attacking migrants. Or saying what about taking care of us instead of foreign countries 1/

🧵Wednesday was mixed. I struggled to my hospital appt. I was truly fatigued once I returned home. I wanted to sleep. But I knew my gardener had brought forward his visit. The neighbour who is going to repair...my broken passage roof wanted to measure up. The worry 1/

I don't need breakfast. I ate sausage casserole earlier 😋 Thinking scrambled eggs this afternoon. I'll be out by 9am. Hospital visit for a second pair of specially made shows.

@curtisstigers.bsky.social Still buying your CD's 😉 I think I have almost all that you have released. Possibly missing only two. I hope to get those eventually(one being your new release)wishing it lots of success.

Dear World, I’m an American. I apologize to you all that we put a thoroughly bad, cruel, ignorant madman back in the White House. Many, many Americans apologize. Don’t appease him, don’t coddle him. Stand up to him & punch back at his stupidity. Best, An Anti-Trump American

Forgive me if I don’t get excited about a ‘theme park’ in Bedfordshire. What the theme is isn’t reported … doubtless something from our US cultural masters

🤣 I was eating my sausage casserole in the early hours 🤣 I saw an image of scrambled eggs a few minutes ago. It's been such a long time. Think that I will have some this afternoon.

The Associated Press wins reinstatement to White House events after judge rules government can’t bar its journalists, citing the 1st Amendment.

He’s an idiot. A dangerous idiot.

Is Trump’s Military Parade a Dictator Move or Just More of His Dumb, Fake, Patriotic Hype?

Reminder: Tariffs aren't paid by other countries. They're eventually paid by us at the check out line. And they're regressive — taking a higher percentage out of the paychecks of working people than out of the wealthy.

🧵In general just suppose we do as Trump wishes and drop the mark up on goods he wants to sell to us...and we benefit on what we export to the US. OK. We may need items like steel. Oil. Parts that go into items like cars and technology but naively I cannot think of...1/

🧵Oh the irony...a g'ment that says "Many people esp the young are over diagnosed regarding mental health" Keep pushing work as the cure. Making it sound as though MH is nothing. Perhaps as we talk more about it stops the stigma associated with it and could be why there is seemingly an increase 1/

We know government threats of cuts makes the process of claiming the support we need even more daunting. You are not alone! Our factsheets have just had their annual update, with all the information to help you make a claim: www.disabilityrightsuk.org/guidance-res...

Some weeks ago I mentioned arson incidents on my town. It's gone quiet and there is no news on whether those responsible have been apprehended. That was drug related. Now we are having random fires happening. The latest 24 hours ago behind our retail area which is very near me.

Starmer ducks out of waiting for impact evidence before continuing the welfare cuts. Basically I am continuing on our way. Yes they talk of young people. Prospective workers but people now in retirement and on benefits that often are a pathway to other help. Buys medical aids 1/

Our analysis showed up to 400,000 people would be pushed into poverty by the Government's proposed disability benefits cuts. This was put to PM Keir Starmer by @debbieabrahamsmp.bsky.social at today's Liaison Committee. He said the cuts would 'change behaviour'. Watch below 🔽 1/2
