My one good thing for today? This focaccia bread. Don't go light on the oil. If you are in the US please bake at 425F. Doubt you need the sugar. Worth letting it sit in the fridge for 2 days. #onegoodthing www.tashasartisanfoods.com/blog/super-e...

The culty vibe of Kier's followers and the wreckage Lumon leaves behind seems oh so...familiar. "The Eagans don’t care about anyone’s lives as long as their “mysterious and important work” forges ahead. We knew this already, but seeing the impact on Harmony’s rundown hometown is another thing."

I thought I'd missed my shot, but I guess I still have time to hustle over to Costco to stock up on tequila and maple syrup for all the comfort pancakes and margaritas I'll need for the next 4 years...

Finally! Somebody said what needs to be said - accurately and bluntly. The media seriously needs to take some cues from this - it's factual AND entertaining, all while throwing a cold glass of water in your face with the potential to wake people up to take action. I laughed but probably cried more.

Just a small reminder that the last time the U.S. was #1 in shipbuilding was during WW2. Before that, it was in the 1800s. Someone's really aching to turn back time..

So much for free speech! I feel like Susan Powter could make a huge comeback right now with a series of "Stop the Insanity" posters and memes.

I got laid off today, with the rest of 18F. 18F was an elite federal software shop. We made gov't websites work better, more efficiently for the American people. We saved taxpayers from getting screwed over by contractors. And were fired for it. We made this website to tell our story: 18f.org

Sadly, it’s time to revive this 2017 TIME cover.

Well, that wine wasn't going to taste itself!!!

I'm ready for that "Deep State" Government that MAGA and Q-Anon Republicans have been crying about for the last decade to jump into action like Marvel Superheros any time now... Bueller? Bueller?

Do you hear the Army sing, singing the song of angry men... www.youtube.com/watch?v=pIQh...

I asked ChatGPT how much the U.S. government could save with a 4-day work week. Its estimate was between $4 - 10 billion dollars. $2-4 billion would have been from increased productivity and reduced absenteeism. But nope, someone had to take a chainsaw to everything vs. considering this.

Has Marco Rubio been Neuralinked? Asking for a friend...

It's worth a shot.

Early Valentine flowers from my Valentine. Was a great pick me up as I was feeling pretty low yesterday.

Measles outbreak in Texas rises to 24 cases as New Mexico reports illness New Mexico's case is from a county that borders the Texas outbreak location, though the patient hadn't traveled to the area. www.cidrap.umn.edu/m...

For the love of humanity, someone please make it all stop!

My best remedy for when I need to self-soothe and escape from the news - Bridgerton! Favorite scene ever is Kate and Anthony dancing to Wrecking Ball.

A beautiful morning shared by many. More than 100 people were out on the trail before 10 am. Commiserated and laughed with trail friends I made during the pandemic. Community is so important right now.

I was out walking my super cute floof of a dog when a Tesla drove by. My instinct was to boo the driver, so I did. I think I'll do this all the time now. Feel free to join me in this effort.

When even The Wall Street Journal works to dig up dirt on President Musk's minions, you know it's on! Link to the WSJ article in this one.
