We lost our Pep just under 2 weeks ago so we’re giving Sally a chance. Lovely girl. Sweet and a little nervous. Rescued from the Chinese dog meat trade. 🩵

Absolutely had it with the dairy farm upstream from us. Two hours ago I was standing in a clear river, cutting back fallen trees. Came back to this. They know it will be heavy rain tomorrow, which will wash all this - and the dead fish - away.

Labour Sarwar's plan to transport patients 100's of miles for treatment in the private sector is already happening in England. Patients are ferried by taxi to private clinics. As well as costing a fortune, it's also leading to surgeons & nurses leaving the NHS. (MSM Monitor) youtu.be/cC5_hsRzNsE

Happy Birthday, Kenneth Williams, born on this day in 1926. Still the greatest "guest" to have presented a feature on a TV programme. Here he is on Tomorrow's World in 1981. How he didn't get this gig permanently, I'll never know. Just imagine if he'd been your science teacher.

👏 “The main green, previously kept short and highly manicured for golf, had become a dense area of tussocky grass. Now it is managed as a permanent wildflower meadow with over 80 species of flowering plant, from native orchids to pignuts and goldenrods, and heaves with butterflies and other insects”

Without downloading any new pictures, where are you mentally?

Isn't it crazy that when you wake up from a nap it takes your brain at least twenty seconds to reboot? Like, I'll wake up and have forgotten where, when and who I am. It's the closest I'll ever be to being Jason Bourne

Beautiful. And, I suspect, true.

Imagine if the HS1 to HS2 connection hadn’t of been cancelled. We could have had direct services from Birmingham and Manchester to several European destinations, finally realising the vision from this 1992 advert.
