Silver lining to today's unacceptable incident involving Jarren Duran is the swift and severe response the perpetrator got from Duran and his teammates, umpires, fans around him in the seats, stadium staff and league officials since the game. There was a time people might've looked the other way.

Happy Birthday to Terry Francona who turns 66 today. He managed the Sox from 2004-11, with a record of 744-552, it’s the 2nd highest win total in Sox history only behind Joe Cronin. He was 28-17 in the postseason, including 8-0 in the WS., with 2 titles.

Haven't seen too many ppl (other than Tim Snyder) covering the growing likelihood of a terror attack as pressure builds on Trump. These fuckers are not above using that to solidify power. Almost as fun as seeing a big #RedSox win last night was a first for me as a fan: seeing a player in AA (7/23/23), AAA (7/5/24) and last night in the big leagues in Chase Meidroth.
