Why seeing trade deficits as a problem is silly. We buy $150B of stuff from Vietnam and they buy $10B from US. Taxing ourselves 50% on Vietnamese goods doesn’t make them buy more things from us. We will simply buy less from them and pay huge taxes on what we do buy. It’s so fucking stupid.

I’m at a music festival. People come from all over the country & world. Last night a Ukrainian group performed. The support & cheers for Ukraine were huge and brought tears to my eyes. It was beautiful. Slava Ukraini!
