Als iedereen in Nederland die tegen racisme en fascisme is (zeg nou zelf, zo raar is dat niet) hier nu eens naartoe zou komen.. Zonder meteen kritiek te hebben op anderen die net op een andere manier, of om een andere reden, tegen racisme en fascisme zijn..? Dan zijn we vast met een heleboel.

Stuitende berichtgeving van 'onze' @nieuws.nos.nl. Het woord Israel valt nergens in het stuk, alsof de verwoesting van Gaza (geen "plek die mensen blij maakt") spontaan gebeurd is. Etnische zuivering als verdienmodel. Dat zou de kop moeten zijn.

I hope scholars in Europe and political parties that support science are paying close attention to the unfolding US situation. Institutions can easily come under pressure. Actions of individuals can have far reaching consequences. Robust resilience is hard once the attack happens.

Meta is scary. I only check Instagram via my browser (Firefox/Duckduckgo), with heavy security: tracker blockers, automatic cookie deletion, etc. Still, it is clear from my feed that Instagram has eerily correct information about my current health situation. I thought I knew, but still: shocked.
