I went to the cardiologist with complaints of feeling dizzy, they noticed my battery was completely done and the pacemaker went on its backup battery that my insurance finally covered the cost of the replacement. I went into surgery, alone, scared that I was going to lose my job - pt 2

A story about United Health Care. I was on it back in, I want to say 2016. The pacemaker I had at the time was quickly depleting and UHC refused to cover the cost of the surgery. I am dependent on my pacemaker, meaning once its off, my heart rate slows down and I'm done. It wasn't until - pt 1
