Can you say "delusional", everyone? I knew you could. bsky.app/profile/joem...

Series: pollinator-friendly plants for Minnesota gardens. 1. Abbotswood potentilla (Potentilla fruticosa) Sometimes called cinquefoil. Large white flowers through the entire growing season. Not a native. Likes full sun and will grow about 4' by 4'. Zones 3-7. #garden #pollinators

“You recently used one or two unwords — all very recently added of course. Have you seen the 11th edition of the Newspeak Dictionary?” www.reuters.com/world/us/fda...

Scent of the day: The Scales of Deprivation. Thin, dark, and shadowed. A scent that offers no sustenance, comfort or satiety: lemon peel, white sage, frankincense, lavender fougere, sandalwood, vetiver and labdanum. #bpal #sotd #perfumesky

Ah, the American "male" dream.

If there is one story that sums up the level of "what's in it for me?" thinking our First Moron works at, this is it.

Legacy code'll get you every time. That's why you 1) document, and 2) are smart enough to read the docs. And these guys ain't bright enough.

Scent of the day: Leo. Lime / orange / heliotrope / juniper / sandalwood. My first Black Phoenix purchase (Count Dracula was a gift), and still one of my favorites. #bpal #sotd #perfumesky

Scent of the day: Ifrit. "I do not grant wishes," whispers the ifrit, dropping his towel and pushing Salim gently, but irresistibly, down onto the bed. Desert sand, red musk, blackened ginger, dragon's blood resin, black pepper, cinnamon, and tobacco. #sotd #bpal #perfumesky

It could not have been said better. Well sung, Mr. Scotten. "If no lawyer within earshot of the president is willing to give him that advice, then I expect you will eventually find someone who is enough of a fool, or enough of a coward, to file your motion. But it was never going to be me.”

Scent of the day: Frederic. Victorian whimsy and piratical romance: a reluctant seaman’s chypre sloshed with a mix of bay rum, patchouli, amber musk, dark woods, tea rose, and red currant. #sotd #bpal #perfumesky

Scent of the day: Monk. Sandalwood incense, ti leaf, and honeyed saffron. My favorite DnD character class. #sotd #bpal #perfumesky

The mouths of babes. (Advisory: language.) www.youtube.com/watch?v=g7XQ...

Scent of the day: Mummies of Mexico City. Notes of church incense, ornate gold, old lace, and dust. A sacred, secret scent, recalling residual whispers of incense settling into the ancient, forgotten dust. #bpal #sotd #perfumesky

Scent of the day: Descent. Blackened pomegranate rind, sweet myrrh, pink peppercorn, velvet lily, spiced red rose petals, mullein, champaca blossom, black amber, 8-year-aged Indonesian patchouli, hay absolute, honey accord, and black vegetal musk. Heavy and floral on me. #sotd #bpal #perfumesky

End impunity End autogenocide End oligarchy #3E

Scent of the day: Count Dracula. The essence of nobility, brutality and true Will made flesh and propelled through the eons by an ever-burning hatred: black patchouli, neroli, tonka, cinnamon, bitter clove, leather, black musk, coffin wood and fiery ginger. My very favorite. #sotd #bpal #perfumesky

Cap was one of my Heroes when I was a kid. The Batman was the other; though they were very different, they both always did the Right Thing, no matter how painful.

More of this, America.

Civilization VII, ho!!

Scent of the day: Amour Fou. A vintage 1920's dry moss chypre with warm brown leather and a drop of sweet vetiver. #sotd #bpal #perfumesky

Ah, the age-old dilemma of separating the art from the artist. My take? If artists are living, and therefore able to possibly give regret and remorse for their shitty behavior, I reject their art. It’s not a perfect system, but it works for me. I don’t read Card or Rowling, for instance.

Scent of the day: Day of the Skulls. White sandalwood, beeswax, and frankincense crowned by hydrangea, rose, and kantuta blossoms, dressed with tobacco, cocoa leaves and flowers from the sacred Cactus of the Four Winds. #sotd #perfumesky #bpal

Looking for accountability, and honesty, and integrity. I am clearly at the wrong window.
