It's the same reason why when redundancies were made a decade ago at iiNet - my role in regulatory & a colleague in compliance - were the first to go. It's why my role in regulatory affairs wasn't replaced last year. We laud disruptors & innovation. We do not reward or listen to the maintainers.

Its astonishing how Corruption™️ has successfully rebranded itself as "Conservative" around the world. Yep, when you hear that mining is huge, remember they mean the profits are huge... The Hospitality industry pays more wages to Australians than does mining.
