Setting aside the differences in growth projections that drive GDP differences across the platforms, let’s just put 39 vs 43% debt to GDP ratios in context: The UK and US are both over 100%. Canada really isn’t in any fiscal emergency. Productivity, sure. But not debt/gdp.

The Nintendo Switch 2 costs $449.99. The Super Nintendo cost $199 when it released in September 1991. Adjusted for inflation, that's the equivalent of about $469 today. It's always been expensive. We just notice it now because we're adults spending our adult money.
